Terms of Cooperation for Partners

How memorial pages are prepared, how an order proceeds, and what is included in the $25 fee.

How the service works

A headstone preserves a person's name, dates, and portrait. A memorial page on the internet complements the stone: it holds a biography, photographs from the family archive, video recordings, and recollections.

A visitor reaches the page via a QR code on the headstone or memorial plaque. Pointing a smartphone camera at the code opens the page directly in a standard browser, with no accounts to register and no passwords to enter.

Zhorben handles the entire preparation of the page. Relatives do not have to learn software or adjust settings. We contact the family directly in Viber, collect photographs and text, design the page, and agree on the finished result.

Ordering and preparation process

Preparing a page takes five steps:

  1. When taking an order for a headstone, you offer the family a memorial page and pass us the name of the deceased person and the telephone number of the contact person.
  2. We contact the relative in Viber and receive photographs, video recordings, and biographical text.
  3. We prepare the first design draft and send a preview link to the family. If the design does not fit, we prepare another option, with up to 3 design variations in total. Before final approval, the family may make up to 3 rounds of corrections.
  4. The relative approves the final draft in the chat.
  5. We publish the page and send you the QR code files for placement on the headstone or plaque.

From receiving the contact to sending the QR code files usually takes about one week.

What is included in the price

Preparing one memorial page costs $25. This is a one-time payment with no subscription fees, hidden charges, or renewal costs.

The price covers:

  • name, dates of life, epitaph, and biographical text;
  • up to 50 photographs;
  • up to 3 videos, each up to 5 minutes long (if a video runs longer, we cut the selected fragment ourselves);
  • support for 2 language versions (for example, Russian and Belarusian);
  • open access to the page with no passwords and no advertising;
  • design preparation (up to 3 layout options) and up to 3 rounds of corrections;
  • production-ready vector QR code files for placement on the headstone;
  • permanent hosting on the network.

Original full-size files are kept for one month after publication in case corrections are needed, after which they are erased. Only compressed copies remain on the server to ensure fast page loading.

How to describe the service to the family

The service can be explained to relatives during an order with the following words:

"We can place a QR code with a memorial page on the headstone. Pointing a phone camera at the code immediately opens the biography, photographs, and videos.

An editor from the service will contact you in Viber, gather memories and photographs, lay out the page, and agree on the finished design before publication.

The page opens without passwords and without advertising. There are no renewal or maintenance payments to make: the page stays online permanently."

Hosting period and support

A memorial page is hosted permanently and remains accessible for as long as the service operates. Availability of the page does not depend on whether the workshop continues cooperation with Zhorben.

After publication, the content of the page is fixed and is not rewritten, except to correct factual errors.

The address privacy@zhorben.com is listed at the bottom of every page. We handle all inquiries directly:

  • Typos and dates. Errors in names or dates are corrected free of charge at any time.
  • Living persons' details. If a person shown in a photograph or named in the text asks to remove their details, we remove them within three days without requiring proof of kinship.
  • Withdrawing a page. The relative who approved the publication may ask to hide the page at any time. We close access within 24 hours and keep materials in an archive for one year in case of restoration, after which they are erased permanently.

Settlements

The cost of preparing one memorial page is $25.

Payment terms, methods of money transfer, and settlement schedules are agreed with each partner individually at the start of cooperation.
